Keep Your Distance From These Three Dangerous Weight Loss Methods
So you wish to get rid of a few extra pounds. Because it's hard to stick to a diet and exercise every day, some people decide to use weight loss methods that can be very dangerous. Most usually, women are using these dangerous methods as they feel pressured into being thin by society. It is more common for women to utilize these risky methods as a result of society's constant pressure to be thin. It's good to be a healthy weight, nevertheless following these methods of weight loss will result in your overall health diminishing and you will become ill. Today, I'll be discussing these methods so that you can avoid them.

The most common drastic diet plan is starvation; not consuming much food at all, resulting in your energy levels dropping. Some people opt to skip breakfast, others skip lunch, and many opt to skip both meals. In your mind, you convince yourself that you're not starved even though your stomach is grumbling like crazy, screaming I want to be fed!. Nonetheless, after sometime your body learns to adjust. Because your body thinks it is being starved, it slackens the metabolism process in order to save energy, causing you to burn less fat than you normally would. When you return to your normal eating habits again, your metabolism will remain slower resulting in your easily storing calories, causing you to speedily gain more fat. Even though you lose weight when you starve yourself, you do not lose as much as you can by observing a proper diet and exercise plan. Don't you suppose it's better to be able to eat and lose weight while continuing to be healthy?

Starving yourself can often cause anorexia. What happens is that you acquire a fear of food and turning overweight which results in your eating very little and becoming exceedingly thin. Anorexia can lead to a weaker immune system, loss of hair and even death. Many younger people follow starvation diet plans but if you mentally set your mind on starving yourself, it can lead to anorexia which is damaging for the body and your health.

Next up, we have binge eating. Those who follow this method ingest huge amounts of food and then puke so that the calories do not remain in their body. Even though bulimics do not fear food such as anorexics do, they throw up the food that they eat because they feel guilt-ridden for eating such large amounts. It's hard to tell if somebody is a bulimic as their body weight doesnt change too much, whereas with the other diets you can see people losing weight. Regular puking is tough on your body. It can harm your heart, liver, and kidneys. You can end up developing stomach ulcers because of it. Your esophagus mught be destroyed by the stomach acid and your teeth could lose their enamel. The acid can as well cause harm to your throat. Constant vomiting of your food can cause terrible harm to your body.

My proposal is to eat, but eat in a sensible manner. This means smaller amountsand fewer rich foods. You can safely become slimmer without taking a chance on your health.
